Oral Health Clinical Research Trials

TKL’s Oral Research Department has been conducting clinical research trials to evaluate the safety and efficacy of numerous oral care products since 1985. These products have included mechanical devices including toothbrushes and interdental cleaners, as well as products containing chemotherapeutic agents, such as mouth rinse, chewing gum and dentifrice. Types of studies include:

  • Salivary pH and flow

  • Tooth sensitivity
  • Tooth whitening
  • Plaque/Gingivitis
  • Oral anesthetic
  • Dry Mouth
  • Calculus
  • Periodontitis

Over the years both our staff and facility have enjoyed a well-respected reputation within the research community. All studies are conducted under the highest measure of industry standards including GCP and ICH guidelines. Having benefited by working closely with leading academic and industry partners for many years, our staff is well versed in both conducting clinical research trials and protocol development.
